Introduction

The Low Scoring Game ("the App") is a football prediction game. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

When you create an account we collect:

• Account information – email address and display name.
• Authentication data – provided via email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In.
• Profile preferences – your supported club, league winner prediction, and relegation predictions.

When you use the App we also store:

• League data – leagues you create or join, including league names and membership.
• Prediction data – your score predictions for Premier League matches.
• Push notification tokens – if you opt in to notifications, we store a device token to send you gameweek reminders and score updates.

How We Use Your Data

We use the data listed above to:

• Provide and operate the App, including authentication, leagues, predictions, and standings.
• Send push notifications you have opted in to (e.g. gameweek reminders).
• Generate AI-powered league commentary based on prediction and scoring data.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firebase (including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Cloud Messaging) to store data and deliver notifications. Google's infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform. You can review Firebase's privacy documentation.

We also use the OpenAI API to generate league commentary. Prediction and scoring data (not personal account details) may be sent to OpenAI for this purpose. See OpenAI's privacy policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the App.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App, which will permanently remove your profile, predictions, and league memberships.
